    What are the similarities and differences between PE conduit  pipe and PVC conduit pipe?

       The full name of conduit is [Insulated Electrical Bushing for Buildings], which is a pipe system used to protect and organize electrical lines. It is usually used to protect cables or wires, and to guide electrical lines in buildings or industrial facilities.

Wiring tubes are mainly divided into plastic threading tubes and metal threading tubes. Common plastic threading tubes are mainly divided into PVC threading tubes and PE threading tubes; common metal threading tubes are mainly divided into KBG tubes (national standard crimped wire tubes) and JDG There are two types of pipes (tight-fitting galvanized steel conduits). Here we mainly introduce plastic threading pipes.

For threading tubes, in order to facilitate threading, when we produce machines, we will specially design them to thread the iron wire into the tube together, so that the wires can be easily threaded into the tube in the future.

1. What are the similarities between PVC and PE conduit?

(1) The same purpose - electrical circuit protection:

Both PVC conduit and PE conduit are designed to protect cables and wires, ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical lines.

(2) Corrosion resistance:

All have good corrosion resistance and are suitable for some humid and corrosive environments.

(3) Flexibility:

Both PVC and PE materials are relatively flexible, allowing them to have certain bending properties during installation, making it easy to adapt to different shapes and layouts.

(4) Flame retardancy:

In general, PVC and PE wiring pipes have certain flame retardancy (flame retardant needs to be added), which helps to improve the safety of electrical lines.

2. What is the difference between PVC and PE threading pipes?

(1) Different raw materials:

——PVC threading pipe: made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material;

——PE threading pipe: made of polyethylene (PE) material.

(2) Different low temperature resistance:

——PVC conduit: will become brittle at extremely low temperatures;

——PE threading pipe: It has good low temperature resistance and is suitable for use in cold climates.

(3) Impact resistance:

——PVC conduit: relatively brittle and easily broken when impacted;

——PE threading pipe: It has good impact resistance and can provide additional protection in some harsh environments.

(4) Insulation:

——PVC conduit: It has better insulation performance, and PVC conduit is preferred in applications that require higher insulation;

——PE threading pipe: Compared with PVC, the insulation performance of PE threading pipe is relatively average.

All in all, PVC and PE wiring pipes have their own characteristics. PVC wiring pipes are widely used in residential, commercial and light industrial applications for their good corrosion resistance, insulation performance and economic practicability; while PE wiring pipes are used for their superior resistance to corrosion. Low temperature performance, impact resistance and flexibility show unique advantages in some special environments.
